CLINICAL AND PROFESSIONAL SUPERVISION

I offer clinical supervision for qualified counsellors and coaches, helping you stay grounded, ethical, and supported in your work. Supervision isn’t just a professional requirement – it’s a vital space for reflection, growth, and staying connected to why we do what we do.

I work within the ethical frameworks such as BACP, NCPS, and UKCP, all of which recommend a minimum of 1.5 hours of supervision per month to support best practice.
I work with both 121 and small groups (where you can count half the time for up to four participants.)

HOW DO I WORK?

My approach is integrative and collaborative, drawing on both the Seven-Eyed Model and the Integrated Developmental Model (IDM) of supervision. This allows me to adapt our sessions to where you are in your professional journey – whether you’re newly qualified and finding your feet, or an experienced practitioner navigating complex client dynamics.
I offer supervision face-to-face, online, or in groups, and also provide agency and organisational supervision where needed.

SUPERVISION BEYOND THE THERAPY ROOM

Supervision isn’t only for counsellors and coaches.
Anyone working with vulnerable adults or children, people in distress, high-pressure environments, or emotionally demanding roles can benefit from a regular space to pause, reflect, and reset.

I work with a wide range of professionals – from teachers, therapy dog handlers, and corporate wellbeing leads to mental health first aiders, disciplinary managers, and public sector teams.
If your work involves emotional labour, difficult conversations, safeguarding, or supporting others, supervision can help you:

~ Reflect safely on your experiences
~Maintain clear boundaries
~
Prevent burnout
~
Work more ethically, sustainably, and effectively

It’s not just a “nice to have” – for many, it’s an essential part of staying well and doing a good job.

REFLECTIVE GROUP PRACTICE FOR TEAMS

In addition to one-to-one and small-group supervision, I also facilitate Reflective Group Practice sessions for teams and organisations. These facilitate a more harmonious and productive workforce for the employer, and a more enjoyable place to work as an employee.

These sessions offer a confidential space for colleagues to explore the relational side of their work together – how communication flows, how stress and emotion show up in the team, and how to navigate difficult dynamics with honesty and compassion.

There’s no set agenda; instead, we sit together for a set amount of time to reflect on what’s happening in the group and between us. While this can sound a bit daunting at first, people often find it surprisingly grounding, insightful, and connecting.

Reflective group practice can improve team relationships, build emotional resilience, and strengthen a culture of openness and mutual support. This is turn helps create a motivated and productive workforce.
